I'm so excited for the Christmas season! I've probably been listening to Christmas music for about two months now. The same C.D. over and over again. I'm also starting to watch Christmas movies. I've already taken out all the decorations for Christmas and lit up the tree. We usually bake a birthday cake for Jesus...and eat it for Him. My Aunt is coming over to our house from L.A. to celebrate with us too. We may also have a man over who is an Afghan who works for the U.S. military over as well.
I've also been helping out at my church a lot with children's day care why their parents are in church. Last Sunday, I asked the kids what was most important about Christmas and what it was all about. And, of course, every single kid's answer was: PRESENTS! I asked what else besides presents, hoping that at least one would say Jesus. But instead I got : SANTA! And one kid actually said," Watching
Elf "! A couple days after Christmas, my family and I are heading up to San Francisco to see my Aunt and Uncle. Were also going to visit my Grandma and Grandpa. I am so excited for Christmas, and the food.
